Under Rohit Sharma’s captaincy, India have won the New Zealand series 3-0 and the West Indies series 3-0 while lead the Sri Lanka series 1-0. On Thursday, India made it 10 wins in a row to move just two wins away from registering the BIGGEST record. India’s earlier record was seven when MS Dhoni led India to 7 consecutive T20 wins.

Afghanistan and Romania jointly hold the record of most wins in a row. Between February 5 and September 15, Afghanistan won 12 consecutive matches including a 5-0 victory over Ireland. For Romania, the record came against European countries.

Afghanistan and Uganda are currently second with 11 consecutive wins. Between March 27, 2016, and March 12, 2017, Afghanistan won 11 matches in a row including another 5-0 thrashing of Ireland. Uganda managed that against African countries.
