PSL 2022 Eliminator: Alex Hales, on his return to Islamabad United, slammed a valuable knock of 62 that helped Islamabad United chase 170 successfully against Peshawar Zalmi in the eliminator of the Pakistan Super League at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. Islamabad United were bolstered with the return of skipper Shadab Khan, who missed last three games due to an injury and Alex Hales. Earlier, Wahab Riaz-led Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and opted to bat first. Kamran Akmal got the team off to a good start. He was soon joined by Shoaib Malik as both the batsmen scored brilliant half-centuries to help Peshawar Zalmi score 169.
