Every player in Philadelphia 76ers history who has worn No. 11


It’s summertime in the NBA, so it’s time to learn some history. The Philadelphia 76ers are one of the older franchises in the NBA. Their history dates to the 1949-50 season.

With that longevity, the team has had hundreds of players come through the City of Brotherly Love. Sixers Wire looks at the No. 11, which has been worn by 33 of those players in the history of the franchise.

This running series will go through all of the uniform numbers worn in franchise history. The previous edition of this series was a list compiling the 30 players who have worn the No. 12.

Here is the list of the 33 who have worn No. 11 in Sixers history:

Leroy Chollet, 1949-1951

Chollet played two seasons for the Syracuse Nationals and he averaged 2.9 points and 1.1 rebounds while donning No. 11.

Don Lofgran, 1950-1951

Lofgran played 47 games for the Nationals and he averaged 3.4 points and 2.0 rebounds while donning No. 11 for the franchise.

Earl Lloyd, 1952-1958

Lloyd is the first African-American to play in the NBA as he started with the Washington Capitals in the 1950-51 season. He then served in the U.S. Army before returning to play for the Nationals for six seasons. He averaged 8.3 points and 6.6 rebounds for Syracuse.

Ed Conlin, 1958-1959

Conlin wore two different numbers for the Nationals, 11 and 8, and he averaged 12.1 points and 5.9 rebounds while playing for Syracuse.

Frank Selvy, 1959-1960

Selvy wore No. 11 for 19 games for the Nationals and averaged 5.4 points and 2.5 rebounds.

Swede Halbrook, 1960-1962

Halbrook played 143 games for the Nationals and he averaged 5.5 points and 6.6 rebounds while donning No. 11.

Freddie Crawford, 1970-1971

Crawford played only 36 games for the Sixers while donning No. 11 and he averaged 5.0 points and 1.9 rebounds.

Freddie Boyd, 1972-1975

Boyd played 229 games across four seasons and he averaged 8.9 points and 3.1 assists while donning No. 11.

Caldwell Jones, 1976-1982

Jones played six seasons for Philadelphia and he averaged 7.2 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 1.9 blocks.

Leo Rautins, 1983-1984

Rautins, now a broadcaster, played 28 games for the Sixers donning No. 11 and he averaged 1.7 points and 1.2 rebounds in the 1983-84 season.

Bob McAdoo, 1985-1986

McAdoo played 29 games for the Sixers in his last NBA season and he averaged 10.1 points and 3.6 rebounds to end a Hall of Fame career.

Voise Winters, 1985

Winters played four games in his career for the Sixers and he averaged 1.5 points and 0.8 rebounds.

Jim Lampley, 1986

Lampley played just one game for Philadelphia and he scored three points and grabbed five rebounds.

Jim Rowinski, 1989

Rowinski played three games for the Sixers and he averaged 1.0 points and 1.0 rebounds.

Manute Bol, 1990-1993 and 1994

Bol played 215 games for the Sixers across four seasons and he averaged 1.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.7 blocks.

Kevin Pritchard, 1994

Pritchard played five games for the Sixers and he averaged 0.2 points and 2.2 assists in those games.

Vernon Maxwell, 1995-1996 and 2000-2001

Maxwell played 99 games in two seasons for Philadelphia and he averaged 13.5 points and 3.6 assists for the franchise.

Doug Overton, 1997-1998 and 1999

Overton wore two different numbers for the Sixers, 11 and 9, and he wore 11 in the 1997-98 season and then when he returned at the end of the 1998-99 season.

Ira Bowman, 1999-2000

Bowman donned two different numbers and he 11 games for the Sixers while donning No. 11 and he averaged 0.5 points and 0.2 rebounds in the 1999-00 season.

Raja Bell, 2001-2002

Bell wore two different numbers for Philadelphia, 11 and 19, and in the one season he wore 11, he averaged 3.4 points and 1.5 rebounds as one of the team’s top perimeter defenders.

Todd MacCulloch, 2002-2003

MacCulloch is another one who wore two different numbers for the Sixers, 11 and 50, and he averaged 7.1 points and 4.7 rebounds while donning No. 11 in the 2002-03 season.

Bobby Jones, 2006-2007

Jones played 44 games with five starts in the 2006-07 season and he averaged 2.5 points and 1.3 rebounds.

Gordan Giricek, 2007-2008

Giricek played 12 games for the Sixers after being acquired in the trade that sent Kyle Korver to the Utah Jazz and he averaged 3.1 points and 1.2 rebounds. He was waived and then joined the Phoenix Suns.

Jrue Holiday, 2009-2013

Holiday played four seasons in Philadelphia and averaged 13.4 points and 5.8 assists while making an All-Star appearance in 2013. He was then traded to the New Orleans Pelicans to kick off The Process.

Eric Maynor, 2014

Maynor averaged 3.8 points and 1.9 rebounds in eight games after being acquired in a midseason deal from the Washington Wizards.
